Clifford George

Clifford George was born in Tofino, B.C. , 1962. He started art work at a young age and has now been painting and carving native art for over ten years.
Most of the carvings come from the paintings he’s done in the past, he has learned his carving skill well from watching and carving with friends. Carvings include totems, canoes, bowls, and masks. Clifford is part of the Nuu-chah-nulth first nations.

Hello Clifford – Hope you and your wife are well in Ucluelet and your students & teaching are going well. I wanted to drop you a note to say my wife and I are enjoying the Raven Masks very much. Soon we will move them to our new home in the woods of New Bruswick on the Miramachi salmon river. We look at them every day and think of the nice meeting with you & your wife. Please drop me a line sometime …I would love to hear what kind of carvings you are doing these days. All the Best – Larry from Alberta Canada
HI Clifford, i saw some of your work on facebook, I have a native gift shop on there, and love the small masks that were featured, i saw a small hummingbird mask and a bear mask, I believe they were yours. Any way I love your work, and would be interested in buying from you if you are interested.
